Everything you need to know about the SA EMER 2026 Regional Assembly & Convention.
The official languages of the Regional Convention are English, Russian, Farsi and Arabic. Consecutive interpretation will be provided throughout the Convention.
Other language groups (such as Polish, Spanish, or others) may arrange their own translation channels for a fee of €27 per day for an additional interpretation transmitter (up to three additional languages), on a first-notification basis.
For more information, please contact seeuropesa@gmail.com (EMER Southeast Europe Intergroup).
The Convention will take place at Hotel Ripa in the historic resort town of Tsaghkadzor (approximately 50 minutes north of Yerevan).
Most participants will stay at Hotel Ripa, with additional nearby hotels available if needed. Further accommodation details will be shared after registration.
Participants arrange their own taxi transfer from Zvartnots Airport (EVN) to Tsaghkadzor. Typical taxi fares range from €17–€20, depending on time of day.
For best rates, we recommend using the Yandex Go app and ignoring aggressive drivers offering rides at the airport.
Look for the designated pickup spot outside the main exit and only accept the car assigned by the app. The pickup point is outside the terminal, so you will need to exit the building and follow the signs or the app's map to meet your specific car.
Taxis typically accept cash in Armenian dram (AMD) unless your card is linked directly to the Yandex Go app.
Following registration, detailed information will be provided regarding the Program and Schedule, including meetings, the Talent Show, and various opportunities for service.
We warmly invite you to join the SA EMER 2026 Regional Assembly & Convention in Armenia. Secure your place and receive all participation details.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at seeuropesa@gmail.com.
Armenia is a land of deep history, quiet strength, and enduring faith. Situated in the South Caucasus, Armenia is one of the world's oldest civilisations and the first nation to adopt Christianity as a state religion. For centuries, its people have drawn resilience and hope from spiritual tradition, close community bonds, and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
Today, Armenia offers a calm and grounding environment—marked by mountains, ancient churches, and a culture that values reflection, humility, and mutual support. Its cities and towns balance modern life with deep respect for tradition, creating space for both personal growth and collective care.
Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities and serves as the cultural, spiritual, and social heart of the country.
Roy K., the founder of SA, was of Armenian descent, and his parents were survivors of the Armenian Genocide of 1915–1923. In a meaningful sense, Armenia is where SA began.
There are money exchange kiosks in the airport. Exchange rates at the airport are significantly lower, so you may wish to exchange no more than €50 there (for example, to pay for a taxi).
For better rates, exchange the remainder of your money in Tsaghkadzor (for example at Ararat Bank), or ask your driver to stop at a currency exchange point in Yerevan or along the route to Tsaghkadzor.
You may wish to use one of these established services, or you could rent a car and explore Armenia on your own. Beware of the many cameras on all major roads and obey the speed limits.
